Carolyn Dykema is the Senior Project Manager: Strategic Engagement at Acadia Center and serves in a leading project development and management role focused on strategic planning and implementation of new projects. Her responsibilities include managing project teams by maintaining project priorities, updating implementation strategies, tracking project deliverables, managing goals and workstreams, coordinating staff assignments while guiding strategic shifts and new opportunities.

With decades of public service experience as an elected state and local official, Carolyn brings extensive expertise related to shaping public policy in the areas of climate, energy and the environment. As a Massachusetts State Representative from 2009-22 Carolyn played key roles in the development of landmark legislation and policy related to energy and climate change including An Act Creating a Next-Generation Roadmap for Massachusetts Climate Policy signed into law in 2021. She has also been recognized by industry partners as a leader on solar policy, earning the prestigious Solar Champion Award. Following her service in the state legislature, Carolyn led policy efforts for a nation-leading community solar developer and built deep relationships with developers, communities, and advocates to drive solar and energy storage policies across New England and New York markets.

Carolyn holds a BA from Wellesley College and an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
